From points South: Follow the Maine Turnpike North to exit 48, then take route 302 approximately 40 miles to Bridgton.
From points North: Follow the Maine Turnpike South to exit 63 (Gray exit), then take route 115 southwest to North Windham. In North Windham, take route 302 West approximagely 22 miles to Bridgton.
From points West: Travel to Conway, NH, then take route 302 approximately 20 miles East to Bridgton.

There are several areas for runners and spectators to par:
– In the downtown Bridgton area
– In the parking lot behind Stevens Brook Elementary School
– In the Bridgton Public Library parking lot
– In the parking areas behind the Oberg Agency/Bridgton Books
– In the parking area between TD BankNorth/Lakes Environmental
Association and the town offices
– In the Food City parking lot
These areas are depicted by the circled ‘P’ in the map above.
Road Marshals are posted at all intersections where traffic can enter the race course. Vehicular traffic on the race course while runners are present is not permitted except in the case of an emergency (police, fire truck, ambulance).
The downtown Bridgton area will be closed to traffic from all directions at approximately 7:30 AM–7:40 AM on July 4th until completion of the race at approximately 9:30 AM.
Route 302 traffic Westbound will be detoured via Willett Road and South High Street to Westbound Route 302 at the monument.
Route 117 to North Bridgton and Harrison and from North Bridgton and Harrison to Bridgton will be closed until all runners will have traversed Route 117 from Pond Road to Dugway Road (from approximately 7:40 AM to approximately 8:45 AM).
Golfers headed for Bridgton Highlands Country Club from points East or South can reach the golf course only via Naples to Harrison (Route 35) then Route 117 to North Bridgton. In North Bridgton adjacent to Bridgton Academy, take Chadbourne Hill Road to Highland Road.
Alternately, from the South or West, to get to the golf course, take Route 93 to the Sweden Road, then turn right for about 500 yards to the right turn onto Hardscrabble Road. Follow Hardscrabble Road until it makes a hard right turn onto Upper Ridge Road. Follow Upper Ridge Road to a stop sign and turn right onto Highland Road. The golf course is on your left after about 3/4 mile from the stop sign.
