2026 MESSAGE FROM BILL GRAHAM, 4 ON THE FOURTH RACE DIRECTOR
We are so proud of our history! This year is our 50th annual race. Bridgton’s 4 on the Fourth was founded as a community event that raises funds to give back to our local non-profits predominantly for the Bridgton Public Library. Our gratitude goes to many, our long-standing volunteers and race leadership – and especially you, our runners & walkers.
On January 15 we open registration for this year’s race. Our race is Saturday, July 4 at 8 am next to Food City, on our certified 4-mile course. Last year we had over 2,000 finishers and expect at least that many again this year. We have three sets of registration windows and pricing:
Jan 15-April 30: $35
May 1- June 24: $40
June 25 – Race day: $50
We are offering tech shirts in both the standard crew neck as well as the tank top for both women and men! As always, the first 500 registrations get a free race shirt, and online sales will be available through June 24. We have selected a new race partner, Elitefeats to provide the integrated services for registration, bibs creation, and race day timing. Finally, based upon lessons last year, Bib and shirt pickups will be in the same place in front of the former Memorial School, with an additional pickup window:
